Went to a friend's age-attainment ceremony today. Much like the last one I went to, felt most of the time pitying the child in all her finery. Was again roped into carrying things - this time a basket of flowers rather than an oil lamp, for which I was extremely grateful. Met a few nice people, chatted, etc. Had fun. Am now planning to knuckle down and work on either wife or my SSFF story, whichever feels better.

My sister is struggling with her personal statement at the moment, which amuses me greatly, mostly because I remember my woes two years ago. I'm being good though, and helping her out as much as I can ^_^
